Lizard Children's Centre, a wholly owned subsidiary of AAA Nextt Group Pty Ltd. is one of Australia's leading providers of evidence-based teaching intervention for young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related developmental delays. Currently there is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Behaviour Technician® to work with our professional team in Brisbane.

If you have a current certificate as a Registered Behaviour Technician® and would like to join our team of outstanding therapists implementing teaching programs in the home, in our centre and in the community we would love to hear from you.

You will have a sound knowledge of the theory behind the implementation of teaching programs, and will work under the guidance of a Program supervisor, possess strong communication skills with the ability to work with a team, relate professionally and be supportive with families of our clients. This role will conduct therapy in our centre, in the client's home or out in the community (childcare, preschool, etc).

The successful candidate has:

  • A current certificate as a Registered Behaviour Technician® with with the Behaviour Analysis Certification Board (BACB).
  • A passion to work with and teach children 
  • Ability to learn how to implement behaviour analytic teaching procedures, including discrete trial instruction, incidental teaching, and task specific skills. 
  • Ability to work within a team environment and adhere to Professional & Ethical Compliance Code.
  • Clear communication skills, particularly with family and ABA professionals
  • A willingness and desire to learn and develop
  • High level of autonomy and organisational skills
  • Experience supporting families with special teaching needs is highly regarded
  • A sense of humour is paramount!
