Your Role at Nextt

We currently have a range of Part Time and Casual opportunities for disability support workers in Coorparoo and Fairfield. Our successful candidates will be assisting clients who have sustained an ABI and require round the clock support.  We have a range of shifts available - choose shifts that work in with your schedule!

At Nextt, our disability support workers are directly responsible for organising and implementing daily activities for our clients, including personal care, domestic assistance and community access. 

As a support worker, you will be tasked with supporting our client with the following activities (with NEXTT Training provided):  

• Attendant Care (Bowel care, showering and catheter maintenance)
  
• Behavioural and Mental Health Support
• Light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning
• Medication management
• Manual handling and the use of wheelchairs & hoists

Your skills and Experience

• Manual handling
• Attendant Care (Bowel care, showering and catheter maintenance) - with NEXTT Training provided
• Medication Management
• Complex Behaviours

Your Certificates and Licences

• NDIS workers screening check QLD (Yellow Card)
• Working with children check QLD (Blue Card)
• Current First aid and CPR certificate 
• Certificate III or IV in individual support, disability or equivalent
