What’s your Nextt Role?


We are looking a full-time House Leader to manage and lead day-to-day operations in one of our Melbourne Supported Independent Living (SIL) Houses. As a House Leader, you are responsible for coordinating day to day service provision for people with disability living in a shared SIL environment. This is a dynamic service that requires you to have a high level of personal resilience and adaptability. With a strong leadership presence, you will work alongside our team to guide practice and imbed a strengths-based approach, enhancing client outcomes. You will be responsible for a range of tasks including: 


  • Management of the service roster and casual staff allocation,  
  • facilitating team meetings,  
  • Creating participant progress reports, developmental programs
  • monitoring and reporting of restrictive practices and incident management 

What we’d like to see: 


Our next Nextt person will need to embody a strong passion for delivering quality service to the people we support, plus have the following experience and values: 

  • A minimum of Diploma in Community Services, Mental Health or Disability related qualifications 
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a strong leadership role within the Health Sector with a strong understanding of SIL services 
  • Emotionally intelligent and an ability to emphasize with customers and respond to their ever-changing needs. 
  • NDIS knowledge
