We are seeking experienced Support Workers to provide individualised support for our residents with complex support needs (including complex behavioural support) within their home.

Nulsen Group Home - various rosters. New SDA home opening in June 2024. 

Rosters are set and applicants must be able to commit to all shifts.

You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate the delivery of quality Supported Independent Living (SIL) services and support people to achieve positive outcomes...

Our next induction will be held in May 2024. This is a full 2-week paid induction where you will be equipped with the best training and knowledge to be a Disability Support Worker at Nulsen.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • A minimum 1-years experience supporting individuals with complex behavioural support needs.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • A strong understanding of positive behaviour support and active support. 
  • Flexibility, resilience, and the ability to use your initiative.
  • Have flexible availability to fit in with our current rosters (including morning, afternoon, weekend, night, split and/or short shifts).

What you’ll need:

  • A full Australian Driver’s Licence.
  • Full work rights in Australia.
  • NDIS Workers Screen Clearance 
  • NDIS Workers Orientation Module 
  • Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) including CPR with at least six months validity.
