What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a self-motivated person who’s able to work well with a variety of people. You’ve got a can-do attitude and are happy to work independently as well as part of a team. As a highly organised multitasker, you’ll be able to juggle priorities and think on your feet to solve problems calmly and efficiently.

You’ll love the flexibility of being able to work shifts on weekday evenings and weekends. As a member of the rostering on-call team, you’ll enjoy the extra pay for being on-call outside of regular working hours for one week every 5-6 weeks.

 

What you’ll (ideally) need:

  • Previous experience in roster preparation for approximately 200 staff
  • Knowledge or experience with scheduling software and workforce planning
  • Strong administrative and coordination skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal relationship skills and reliability
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination

The role includes:

  • Covering of shifts in a timely, effective manner
  • Coordination of buddy shifts for new and existing employees
  • Development of rosters for Full time, Part time and relief staff
  • Providing information and support to managers and staff relating to rosters
  • Coordinating internal and external resources
  • Upkeep of electronic rostering system by liaising with external service providers
  • Liaison with Payroll and Managers
  • Working in accordance with the relevant award
  • Rostering on-call for 1 week, once every 5-6 weeks
