Team Leader, Justice Services

Full Time Contract until 20th February 2023 -

Who are we?

Outcare provides person centred care for people whose circumstances place them at risk of entry to the criminal justice system, or who are currently serving a sentence. Under our parent company, Nulsen Group, our purpose is to support people to regain direction and reintegrate into the community.

The Role:

The Team Leader will lead our productive and diverse team to achieve goals that contribute to Outcare’s service quality, client satisfaction and employee engagement. The role will require the ability to provide high quality leadership to the Case Managers in order to effectively support clients, in line with Outcare-Nulsen Group’s purpose, values and relevant policies and procedures. Whilst this is a Team Leader role, there is no caseload involved for this position. 

 Key responsibilities:

• Networking with key stakeholders
• Ensures self and team conforms to Outcare-Nulsen Group conditions of employment; code of conduct; policies and procedures; and relevant legislation and standards.
• Ensures self and team have current skills, competencies and compliances necessary for job role.
• Effectively plans, schedules and directs caseloads of self and team members while working with multiple directives.
• Sets high work standards for self and team; demonstrates a high level of care and thoroughness; checks work of self and team to ensure quality and completeness.
• Maintains safe environment for self, team, colleagues and clients by actively assessing and mitigating risks, reporting incidents, and continuously promoting safe work practices including professional boundaries.

What you'll need:

• Effective organisational and time management skills to priorities work and meet deadlines.
• Sound word processing and computing skills in Windows systems, particularly Microsoft Office programs
• Current WA 'C' Class Driver's License
• Current Working with Children Card
• A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
• First Aid Certification 
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination in line with government mandate
