Diverseco is seeking an experienced and successful Business Development Manager to join our Victorian sales team.

Established in 1992, Diverseco is a leading provider of Automation and Weighing solutions, supplying, and servicing a variety of industries throughout Australia. With a strong commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, our products include industrial robots, intra-logistics scanning, dimensioning, sortation and industrial weighing and inspection.

About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated and successful Business Development Managers for our Automation and Robotics team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving sales growth. 

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy in consultation with key stakeholders, including Product Managers, Engineering Project Team and State General Managers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, and networking.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations that showcases the range and capability of Diverseco’s equipment, products and services.
  • Generate sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve sales budgets and gross profit targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide feedback and insights that drives continuous improvement and further innovation.
About You
  • Proven sales record in a capital sales or service role selling a range of technical products/service plans and solutions.
  • Existing relationships with a multitude of industries that may require automation, robotics, inspection or industrial weighing solutions.
  • Expertise in understanding customer requirements, providing technical guidance, and delivering solutions that meet their needs.
  • Ability to digest and understand technical product information and convey this information to clients.
  • IT savvy with strong CRM knowledge and usage.
  • Ideally possesses a technical or engineering background (electrical trade, electrical / mechanical engineering).
  • Experience in sales and technical scoping of bespoke industrial automation or weighing equipment or servicing solutions will be highly regarded.
