About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Technician with an Electrical Licence to join our Brisbane Service team, based in Underwood. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team, where you provide technical skills to install, test & service equipment while utilising your trouble shooting skills.
- You will carry out installation, testing, service and repairs of customer and Diverseco products and where required assist other technicians to complete activities in an accurate, efficient and timely manner in compliance with:
- The manufacturer’s instructions;
- All applicable laws, including the National Measurement Institute Law
- Applicable Australian standards and/or acceptable industry standards
- Your role will liaise with local Service Supervisor to maximise site attendances, communicate delays, improve customer satisfaction, and improve productivity & efficiency. Look for better ways of doing things & communicate as appropriate.
- Proactively seek out opportunities ethically to increase your charge out for customer hours and chase new service/sales of products which can contribute to business growth through our Technical Staff Lead Bonus Incentive Plan.
- Attend and complete any onsite and off-site training requirements (including product training) as required.
About You:
- Prior experience as an electrical, mechanical, service and / or installation technician.
- Knowledge of PLC programming, SEW motors and drives.
- Possession of a white card (highly desirable)
- Possession of a Forklift license (highly desirable)
- Possession of National Measurement Institute Licenses (highly desirable but not essential).
- Prior Industrial Weighing experience and/or understanding of Trade Measurement system (highly desirable).
- A current Australian driver’s licence & ability to drive a manual vehicle.
- Full working rights within Australia.
