Mario Giacci and his family started a small business specialising in transport and logistics in the 1950s

From small beginnings in Bunbury, WA, this family business grew into an Australian-wide business called Giacci Bros.

In 2004, Mario Giacci also founded MGM Group, with his daughter Giuditta (Giudi) and son Michael. MGM Group initially established itself as a leading supplier of reconstituted limestone blocks, concrete and premium quarry materials.

Over the next decade, MGM Group expanded its operations, equipment and resources to become a large, established business in its own right.

After the sale of Giacci Bros to a publicly listed company in 2014, MGM added a bulk division to the Group, MGM Bulk.

Since its commencement in 2014, MGM Bulk has exhibited remarkable growth, underpinned by an unwavering dedication to excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction. The division is celebrated for its forward-thinking approaches, offering cost-effective fleet solutions tailored to an extensive range of services, including bulk haulage, logistic solutions and comprehensive storage and warehouse management.

Operating one of Australia's largest privately owned Kenworth collections across five locations in Western Australia, MGM Bulk efficiently manages the transport of more than 15 million tonnes while travelling over 41 million kilometres annually and increasing.

MGM Bulk's integral role and significant contribution to the logistics and transportation sectors position the Group as one of Australia's most substantial, privately owned, family-run bulk road haulage entities.
