Skills and Experience

• ESSENTIAL: Cert IV of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management (or equivalent)
• ESSENTIAL: Must be able to work out of the Newcastle office
• Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management (or equivalent)
• 3-5 years experience in a similar role in mortgage advising/lending
• Current broker with MFAA or FBAAExceptional client service, negotiation and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• High ethical and service standards

About the Role

We are seeking a talented broker with a strong client focus to ensure the continued delivery of exceptional service within our financial services team. With a proactive and results-driven approach, you will maintain and develop relationships with existing and new clients.

With a high volume of internal leads, high average deal size and existing lending book, this role is attractive to anyone successfully operating as a broker looking to maximise opportunities. The deals are largely residential, but commercial experience is preferred.

Our lending team is located in three office locations: Sydney, Brisbane, and Newcastle.

With over 190 employees, Prosperity Adviser's Group (PAG) offers a comprehensive suite of financial solutions, such as business advisory and tax, wealth planning, novated leasing, payroll, salary packaging, and lending.

Key Responsibilities

• Identifying client needs and obtaining a thorough understanding of their financial position
• Assessing financial documentation and ensuring the collection and submission of necessary supporting mortgage documentation
• Maintaining relationships with existing clients and seeking new business referrals
• Participating in and following up on sales campaigns
• Meeting KPI's and minimum monthly settlements
