This role reports to a high-performing director (partner) with a diverse client base. The Brisbane office has six directors (partners) and more than 45 on-site employees. The firm has approximately 190 employees across Brisbane, Sydney, and Newcastle offices.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in a chartered environment with a mid-tier or large boutique firm.
• Knowledge of division 7A, FBT, CGT (preferred)
• Experience working with a variety of clients across several different industries.
• Experience in mentoring and/or coaching others.
• Confidence in interacting with clients and presenting information in writing and verbally.
• Provide feedback and help develop junior accountants.
• CA/CPA Qualified or willing to gain.

You will be an experienced Senior Accountant with ambitions to grow and develop your leadership skills and work collaboratively with others to deliver great customer outcomes. Your work ethic and self-motivation will see you succeed in this welcoming, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting (or similar)
• CA Qualified or willing to study (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Taking a proactive approach to developing and maintaining client relationships for a broad range of clients, from business owners to professionals in diverse industries.
• Ensuring work is delivered by your team to a high standard and all client expectations are met.
• Working closely with clients on a range of business advisory needs, including business restructuring, tax planning, and cash flow management.
• Working with other specialists to provide a full range of services to clients.
• Identifying business development opportunities and referral networks.
• Providing feedback and developing junior and intermediate accountants.
