We’re looking for a practical, organised and values-driven Asset Lead who can coordinate property, fleet and technology assets and help our teams deliver safe, efficient and high-quality services.

The opportunity

As Asset Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day management of Outcare’s properties, leased premises, vehicle fleet, equipment, technology assets, records and supplier arrangements. You will help ensure these assets are safe, well maintained, compliant, cost-effective and fit for purpose. You will combine operational oversight with hands-on coordination, working across teams and with suppliers, contractors and service providers. This is a practical role for someone who can bring structure, initiative and reliable follow-through to a diverse asset portfolio.

What you will lead

• Scheduled and responsive repairs, maintenance, inspections and compliance checks across properties, leased premises and vehicles.
• Accurate asset records, including servicing, inspections, compliance documents, equipment allocation and asset registers.
• Procurement activities and relationships with suppliers, contractors and service providers.
• Effective use, availability and value for money across properties, vehicles, technology assets and equipment.
• Initiatives that improve cost-effectiveness, fuel efficiency and environmental sustainability.
• Asset planning and continuous improvement to support long-term performance and reduce downtime.
• Practical guidance for staff on the safe, responsible and effective use of properties, vehicles, equipment and technology assets.
• Timely reporting and operational insights that support informed decision-making.

About you

You are a highly organised and adaptable professional who can balance planning and administration with practical coordination. You communicate clearly, take initiative and work confidently across multiple teams, priorities and service providers.

• Experience in administration, records management, asset management or a related area.
• Strong organisational, planning and coordination skills.
• Ability to work adaptively in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Cultural capability and the ability to work respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds.
• A high level of initiative, motivation and ability to work autonomously.
• Technology proficiency, including Microsoft Office and related systems.
• Experience working with people involved in the justice system or other marginalised groups is highly desirable.
