The Financial Services Officer is responsible for providing a broad range of financial accounts processing and administrative services.

Key duties:

  • Processing all financial transactions following Nulsen’s accounting & trust procedures. Duties include but not limited to:
  • Financial processing of all incoming and outgoing transactions to the GL 
  • Maintaining Nulsen’s residents trust and allowance and personal expenditure accounts in the associated system
  • Reconciliation and reimbursement of Promaster and Weel
  • Raising accommodation fees for each resident for the month according to the billing schedule, including processing journals and bank transfers
  • Monthly reporting to clients and managers month detailing expenditure and receipts
  • Seeking approval from public trustee and other parents for personal expenses.
  • Reconciliation of resident trust accounts
  • Liaises with accommodation services regarding issues associated with resident everyday accounts
  • Provide effective and timely responses to incoming queries 
  • Management of resident's board including preparation of monthly reports

You will need to have:

  • Strong / advanced excel skills.
  • Australian citizenship or be a permanent resident of Australia
  • NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
  • Current Australian driver’s license
  • Experience using Certinia is highly desirable but not required (training provided)
  • Accounting degree / background desirable
