This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, experienced child Counsellor to join Relationships Australia Victoria at our Traralgon centre.

About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Gippsland, your responsibilities include working with children, and families in both long term and short-term interventions as part of the Gippsland Primary Health Network Mental Health Connect Me program.
This involves providing intensive, early intervention counselling and therapeutic case management support for children and a facilitated referral pathway for the children’s family members to relevant support services. This will be delivered using the stepped care model based on a Family Action Plan. Community outreach, mental health education and community development activities are also key components of this role.
This role is part-time, fixed term working three (3) days per week until June 2024, with a possibility for extension dependent on funding. This role is based at our Traralgon centre and includes outreach and delivering services at off-site locations such as schools and kindergartens to support children to achieve their identified goals (current drivers licence required).
