We are seeking a Water Tank Installer to join our Installations Team

Kingspan manufactures, delivers, and installs custom-made steel rainwater harvesting tanks to residential, commercial, and rural clients.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation for mobilisation to the site as directed by the Installations Manager or Project Manager
  • Construct storage tanks to company and customer specifications
  • Ensure relevant tools and materials are on site for installation, organise any necessary replacements, and report any missing stock from Tank packs to the Factory.
  • Read and Interpret CAD drawings and specifications to determine project requirements
  • Attend all scheduled maintenance and repairs of non-complying products as directed by the Project Manager
  • Perform quality inspections of completed products as per company and project specifications
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and vehicles are maintained and serviced, and returned in the condition received
  • Ensure appropriate PPE is worn at all times
  • Participate in site Toolbox meetings
  • Attend all education, training, and certification necessary to carry out works required including site-specific training requirements and inductions where required
  • General cleaning and maintenance of Site/Workshop where required
  • Package all outgoing products to company specifications
  • Perform quality inspections on completed products
  • Provide backup support in the absence of other Installers where required
  • Cooperate with and support the compliance management system and encourage workplace colleagues to do the same
  • Develop employee awareness of product compliance obligations
  • Actively participate in corrective actions from concerns or internal audits.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Ability to withstand frequent and prolonged Manual Handling including handling heavy loads and performing physical tasks
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow instructions
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and autonomously
  • A commitment to safety and quality
  • Understand written and verbal instructions
  • HR Driver’s Licence
  • Fork Lift Licence (desirable)
  • White Card(desirable)
  • EWP Ticket(desirable)
  • Working at Heights Certificate(desirable)
  • Confined Spaces Certificate(desirable)
  • Mines Health Surveillance Card or willingness to obtain

Note: This role requires the jobholder to travel within WA and possibly interstate for periods of up to 4 weeks at a time.
