We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our friendly at Smithfield , NSW

The Role

 We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our friendly, professional and highly driven Service team to focus on the repairs and servicing of steel rainwater tanks and equipment.

 Your main responsibilities will be:

• Ability to service and repair urban water storage tanks to company and customer specifications
• External and Internal Tank Repairs (bogging, touching up, resealing, using a dent pipe)
• Install factory fittings
• Perform duties in accordance with relevant SWMS, Policies and Procedures
• Ensure compliance with relevant OHS legislation
• Maintaining communication, and reporting on job status and repair issues with the team
• Cooperate with and support the compliance management system and encourage workplace colleagues to do the same
• Develop employee awareness of product compliance obligations
• Actively participate in corrective actions from concerns or internal audits.

About You:

•  A can do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Customer facing field work which would include occasional overnight trips.
• Ability to take and pass a drug and alcohol screen and pre-employment medical as required
• Tickets - Current First Aid Certificate, Construction White Card, Confined Space certificate or a willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass a national Police Check
• Ensure compliance with relevant OHS legislation, SWMS, and safety procedures
• Customer service focused with the ability to remain professional when communicating with customers
• Performing physical tasks in sometimes difficult conditions
• Maintaining a clean and professional appearance at all times
• Basic PC skills
