We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our friendly at Epping, VIC

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our friendly, professional and highly driven Service & Warranty team to focus on the repairs and servicing of steel rainwater tanks, pumps and equipment. 

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Service and repairs to rural, built on site tanks, including removing and replacing liners, roofs, trusses, wall sheets and anodes
  • Perform duties in accordance with relevant SWMS, Policies and Procedures
  • Perform quality inspections of completed products
  • Ensure compliance with relevant OHS legislation
  • Maintaining communication, and reporting on job status and repair issues with the team
  • Cooperate with and support the compliance management system and encourage workplace colleagues to do the same
  • Develop employee awareness of product compliance obligations
  • Actively participate in corrective actions from concerns or internal audits.

About You:

  • Previous experience in labouring, trades assistant, plumbers assistant, customer facing field work or remote work which would include prolonged days away from home
  • Full Unrestricted manual driver’s license
  • Full Unrestricted manual MR license ideal, or a willingness to obtain
  • Ability to take and pass a drug and alcohol screen and pre-employment medical as required
  • Tickets - Current First Aid Certificate, Construction White Card, Working At Heights, Confined Spaces, EWP, Forklift or a willingness to obtain
  • Ability to pass a national Police Check
  • Ensure compliance with relevant OHS legislation, SWMS, and safety procedures
  • Customer service focused with the ability to remain professional when communicating with customers
  • Ability to withstand frequent and prolonged Manual Handling including handling heavy loads and performing physical tasks in sometimes difficult conditions
  • Maintaining a clean and professional appearance at all times
  • Basic PC skills
