About the Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic financial accountant to provide a full range of support to the Finance Department as they deliver on the strategic goals. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will operate across a wide range of finance activities, including:

• Assist with weekly and monthly financial control and regulatory reporting as required
• Coordinating and preparing key reconciliations
• Assist with the preparation of month end journals, accruals, group reporting and timely payment of FBT, GST and other tax obligations
• Assist with the projects within the finance department and provide ad hoc support as required

About You

We are seeking someone who has the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Finance/Commerce Degree (or related professional services discipline)
• CA/CPA qualified (Preferred or nearing completion)
• 3 + years’ experience in within Accounting/Finance, preferably in financial services/audit
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
