About the
Opportunity
In this role you
will be responsible for implementing continuous improvements and steering
change initiatives across our Trade Finance, Business Banking Department. Reporting
to the Chief Business Banking Officer (CBBO), key responsibilities include:
- Lead the Business
Banking distribution function to identify opportunities for growing
distribution and improving market share and profitability.
- Developing,
implementing and executing the strategic plan for Trade Finance
- Recommend and
implement solutions to ensure performance and productivity uplift across our
Trade Finance channel
- Identify areas for
improvement within sales channels from a capability and process perspective
- Establish and
implement short and long range goals, objectives, policies, and operating
procedures for the Trade Finance team
- Establish strong
relationships with clients, banks, and other stakeholders to promote trade
finance products and services
- Monitor market
trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities
and mitigate risks
About You
We are seeking
someone who has the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree
in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field. Master's
degree or professional certification is preferred
- In-depth knowledge
of international trade practices, trade finance products, and banking
regulations
- Experience in
channel management with a minimum of 5yrs experience
- Strong analytical
skills with the ability to assess complex trade finance transactions and mitigate
risks effectively
- Excellent
communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build
relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
