Legal Assistant - Projects & Construction

We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant with more than 2 years experience to work in our Sydney Projects and Construction Law practice.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Assistant to work in our Sydney Projects and Construction Law practice. Supporting a busy team you will display a willingness to learn and have experience in either litigation or Projects and Construction from within a fast-paced Law practice group. You will be regarded as an integral member who will provide superior administrative support and a variety of ad-hoc duties.

Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Diary management;
  • Scheduling appointments;
  • Preparation and reconciliation of expenses;
  • Client liaison and management;
  • Preparing legal documents;
  • Opening and closing of files;
  • Organising events & functions;
  • Billing;
  • File management; and
  • PA duties as required


Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have Legal Assistant experience with excellent communication and diary management skills, with a client service focus. You will be proficient in MS Word and formatting, and have the ability to prioritise tasks, display initiative, and have exceptional attention to detail. A professional outlook, backed by a great sense of humour would see you fit in well with the team.  The core office hours are 8.30am to 5pm, however extra hours may be required when necessary.
