We’re looking for a strong, community-minded person to step into the role of Cultural Heritage Coordinator and help lead our statutory work – ensuring that Djaara places, stories and people are protected and honoured.

How can you make an impact?
You’ll walk alongside our Aboriginal Heritage Officers and community members, overseeing important responsibilities under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 (Vic). This includes reviewing Cultural Heritage Management Plans (CHMPs), supporting the registration of Intangible Cultural Heritage, and making sure our protocols are followed on Country. You’ll be a voice for Djaara heritage – working closely with government, developers and community to make sure the law, and culture, are both respected.
