ROLE OVERVIEW

This is an exciting opportunity for a Building Services Manager to join our Victoria Repaint Branch in Port Melbourne. This role is critical to support the continuing growth of the business and will be responsible for managing building functions of the business for all commercial projects.

KEY DELIVERABLES

Works with the Regional/Divisional Manager to develop an annual business plan.

Seeking to maximize profitability by exceeding targeted GP.

Conducts detailed project ‘hand-over briefing’ on site.

Updates and completes all relevant reports on time in line with processes and procedures.

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.

Ensure strong conformity to Higgins WHS&E standards.

Ensuring staff are made aware of and comply with all relevant safety requirements.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCES & PREFERENCES 

Multisite Project Management experience in painting or an associated industry

Experience in managing multi-work sites and trade contractors.

Deliver excellent customer service

Able to work in an autonomous role, yet also be team orientated.

Personal drive, resilience and the ability to manage and inspire confidence in both clients and subcontractors

Numerically sound with exposure to estimating/costing.

Exemplary safety knowledge

Competency with use of IT systems
