We are seeking scheduling and administrative support to the Specialist Services team which includes Nulsen Therapy and Nursing.

Specialist Services - Scheduling Assistant 

Parttime - 1.5 days per fortnight (with the view for additional hours over time)

12 month contracted position 


The Scheduling Assistant position provides scheduling and administrative support to the Specialist Services team which includes Nulsen Therapy and Nursing.

You will be responsible for:

Administration:

  • Assist with the coordination and scheduling of appointments for therapy and nursing clinicians
  • Maximise the services participants can access with their funding, whilst optimising staff hours and cost
  • Liaise with clients to schedule services required
  • Support clinicians to optimise the provision of services through scheduling
  • Resolve scheduling matters with all stakeholders as they arise

Information systems and records management:

  •  Work as a part of the Specialist Services team by providing a wide range of administrative support
  • Assist in the maintenance of an accurate asset register of participant-owned assistive technology equipment including a history of repairs and servicing
  • Update Nulsen Therapy and Nursing templates in TRIM and KAPISH
  •  Update Client Management System (Lumary) with Specialist Services’ related information 
  • Ensure all requirements in relation to a participant entry, movement, death or discharge are completed in a timely manner and that all relevant databases are updated accordingly

Essential Criteria

  • Experience and skills in the application of a range of software including Microsoft Office, databases and electronic records management systems or willingness to develop these skills.
  •  Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
  •  Accurate and efficient keyboard and data entry skill
  • Sound organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise own workload, demonstrate initiative and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in working as part of a team in a service delivery environment.
  • Availability to increase hours for annual leave coverage for therapy admin team. 

You will also need the following compliances:

  • Australian driver’s license
  • Australian working rights
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
