Staff Resources Officer Positions Available - Cannington Head Office 

Parttime 70hr permanent position 

Parttime 38hr 6 months fixed term contract - parental leave cover (possibility of extension)

About you:

Join our staff resourcing team as a parttime Staff Resourcing Officer. You will work with a variety of people, be self-motivated and ability to work independently as well as in a team. This is a busy role, so being organised, able to juggle priorities and having strong problem-solving skills is a must.

Please advise in your application the position you are applying for. This role will require the successful candidate/s to be a part of the rostering on-call team. 

What you’ll ideally need:

  • Previous experience in roster preparation for approximately 200 staff
  • Knowledge or experience with scheduling software and workforce planning
  • Strong administrative and coordination skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal relationship skills and reliability
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

The job role includes:

  • Covering of shifts in a timely, effective manner
  • Coordination of buddy shifts for new and existing employees
  • Development of rosters for Full-Time, Part-Time and casual support workers
  • Provide information and support to managers and staff relating to rosters
  • Participate in special projects related to the rostering system by coordinating internal and external resources
  • Upkeep of electronic rostering system by liaising with external service providers
  • Liaise with the Payroll Department and Managers concerning employee pays
  • Working in accordance with the SCHADS Award and the ability to interpret relevant clauses. 
  • Rostering on-call for 1 week.
