We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Group Finance team and support financial reporting, controls and process improvement across a diverse multi-entity organisation.

About the Role

As Financial Accountant, you will support month-end and year-end processes, reconciliations, journals, revenue recognition, accruals, balance sheet management, reporting, budgeting, consolidation and variance analysis.

You will also support financial controls, audit preparation, statutory reporting, cash flow management, banking, asset registers, leases, depreciation and working capital oversight, while contributing to improvements in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

What You Will Bring

You will bring strong technical accounting skills, sound judgement and a collaborative, values-led approach.

  • CA/CPA qualification.
  • Experience in a Financial Accountant role, operating at a senior technical level.
  • A values-led approach, with the ability to build trust and work constructively with stakeholders.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and the confidence to support change and strengthen ways of working.
  • The ability to guide, support and influence others through professionalism and technical credibility.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of AASB Accounting standards.
  • Experience in reporting, reconciliations, controls, audit preparation and statutory reporting.
  • Experience supporting, overseeing or improving Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
  • Group or NFP experience is desirable, but not essential. We value transferable skills from commercial environments.
