Claims Officer

Victoria Park        FullTime
  • Process NDIS claims accurately and support revenue integrity.
  • Join a collaborative team driving continuous improvement.
  • Salary packaging benefits of up to $18,550 per annum.

Join Nesti as a Claims Officer and help process NDIS SDA claims accurately while supporting strong claims systems and processes.

Nesti is a dynamic not for profit housing provider providing Community Housing, Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), Repairs and Maintenance and Real Estate. We’re dedicated to collaborating with individuals seeking housing, their support networks, investors, developers, government and the broader sector to deliver high quality property, tenancy and asset management services.

We’re about delivering safe and secure housing for all, bringing opportunity home.

The Role

We’re looking for a detail-focused and proactive Claims Officer who would enjoy making a meaningful contribution to Nesti’s housing operations. In this role, you’ll play an important part in ensuring NDIS Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) claims are processed accurately, compliantly and on time, while helping to maintain revenue integrity.

You’ll be supported by the Finance Business Partner and work closely with the Housing Engagement team to help keep participant funding and service agreement information current. Day to day, you’ll process NDIS, plan-managed and self-managed claims, follow up payment enquiries, and make sure records are clear and accurate.

This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail and willingness to work through issues will be valued. You’ll monitor claims, service agreements and payments, investigate errors or missing information, and work with internal teams, plan managers, participants and property partners to find solutions. You’ll also review historical claims and contribute your ideas as Nesti documents and improves its end-to-end claims workflow and continues to strengthen its systems and processes.

About You

Nesti is at an important stage of growth and development, with significant foundational work underway to strengthen, streamline and embed effective systems, processes and ways of working. If you enjoy making sense of complexity, working through detailed information and finding practical solutions, you’ll feel at home in this role. You’ll be organised and adaptable, comfortable balancing competing priorities and committed to maintaining accuracy and seeing tasks through to completion.

From a technical perspective, you’ll bring experience in a claims, finance or administration role and feel confident working with detailed records, payments and digital systems. Experience with NDIS and liaising with plan managers or property partners will be highly regarded. Just as importantly, you’ll communicate clearly, approach problems thoughtfully and take pride in producing accurate, compliant work.

Why Nesti?

At Nesti, we believe housing is a fundamental human right, not a privilege reserved for the lucky few. This is the founding idea behind Nesti. A simple yet powerful belief that we’ve worked towards.  We’ve countless stories to share of housing opportunities that have opened doors to a life of purpose, connection and potential.

In addition to undertaking a role with purpose, you will:

  • Join a close-knit, collaborative team in a convenient Victoria Park location, where your contribution is valued.
  • Make the most of generous not-for-profit salary packaging benefits of up to $18,550 per annum, helping to reduce your taxable income.
  • Enjoy added value from your time off with annual leave loading.
  • Benefit from flexible working arrangements that support balance and wellbeing.
  • Access Nesti Realty Rewards, including reduced rates when selling or renting your home, or referring others.
  • Be part of the broader PeopleKind Group, opening opportunities for professional learning, development and future career pathways.
