Reporting to the Clinical/Workforce Capability Lead, the Learning Specialist will provide the highest standard creating, facilitating and delivering training courses. 

About The Role

The Learning Specialist will design, create, facilitate and evaluate training courses in accordance with Eremea’s organisational strategy and AQTF standards, and skills records are maintained to meet Aged Care compliance and NDIS practice standards. This position plays an important part in supporting the Workforce Capability strategic objectives and building employee and leadership capability across Eremea. The primary focus of the role is to ensure that the training requirements of the organisation are executed effectively to guide and support the business through the significant cultural, process and system changes, so that new behaviours and ways of working are adopted in line with the organisation strategy. Other focus areas are stakeholder management, organisational and functional needs analysis and project management.

About You

• Ability to work fulltime, with some out of standard business hours work required on a rotational basis to ensure adequate support for teams working across different shifts and locations.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in assessing, creating, delivering and evaluating training.
• Ability to produce training courses as per organisational procedural requirements.
• Competency in facilitating learning in different modes of delivery to a variety of audience.
• Demonstrated proficiency with using different technological devices, such as computers, mobiles, training platforms etc.
• Demonstrated effective communication and inter-personal skills, effective stakeholder engagement across all levels of the business.
• Proven track record of working collaboratively with remote and onsite teams to communicate and support a wide range of learners.
• Experience in working with and sensitivity to the needs of people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
• An understanding of, and commitment to, continuous quality improvement and organisational change.
• Proficiency of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook along with experience in various Client/Learning/Data/HR management systems.

Essential Requirements

• Valid Criminal Record Check Certificate.
• Current NSW Drivers’ Licence with reliable motor vehicle
• Valid NSW Working With Children Check Certificate.
• Valid Australian Working Rights.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or Certificate IV in Learning Design and Facilitation
• Bachelor degree in Adult Education or equivalent preferred.
• NDIS Orientation module completion.

Requirements
