About RAV

About the role

Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will be responsible for providing Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) to families by assisting to resolve issues in dispute such as parenting arrangements and property settlement. The role is also responsible for undertaking assessments, group work (as required) and providing information, support and referral to match presenting needs to services and programs.  Based at our Shepparton Centre the successful candidate will be required to work a Tuesday evening until 8pm each week.  This is a permanent, part time position working two (2) days per week.

Qualifications, skills and experience

• Tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Psychology, Social Work or Law.
• Successful completion of the Vocational Graduate Diploma in Dispute Resolution,
• Demonstrated previous experience as a family dispute resolution practitioner (advantageous)
• Registration as an FDRP under the Accreditation Rules or on the Register of FDRP maintained by the Attorney-General’s Department or eligibility immediately, and,
• Experience or training in property or a willingness to undertake training (advantageous).
