We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Inclusion Officer who will play a key role in embedding LGBTIQA+ inclusion across all HR functions.

To support this important initiative, we are seeking an experienced People & Culture Inclusion Officer who will play a key role in embedding LGBTIQA+ inclusion across all Human Resources (HR) functions.

About this pivotal role:
Reporting to the Project Lead – People & Culture, this part-time role (0.7 FTE – 26.6 hours per week) is offered on a fixed-term contract for two years. The successful candidate will have a sound working knowledge of the HR lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, workforce development, employee wellbeing, and policy development. Expertise in inclusive practices and alignment with accreditation frameworks is essential. This role will work closely with the People & Culture team and key stakeholders to ensure Rainbow Tick standards are fully integrated into core people practices.

You will make a positive impact in this role by:

  • Embedding Rainbow Tick standards into recruitment, onboarding, performance, and exit processes.
  • Auditing and updating HR documentation to reflect inclusive language and diverse identities.
  • Coordinating targeted training and capability-building initiatives.
  • Monitoring progress towards accreditation and equity benchmarks.
  • Collaborating across teams to champion inclusive HR practices and drive cultural change.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Qualifications or extensive experience in Human Resources.
  • Proven experience in diversity, inclusion, and cultural safety initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive HR practices across the employee lifecycle.
  • Experience with accreditation processes (e.g. Rainbow Tick) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commitment to feminist values and CNV’s vision for equity and empowerment.
