About the role

We are currently seeking an Integrated Practice Worker based in Maryborough. This is a part-time position (0.8 FTE, 30.4 hours per week).

Integrated Practice Workers play a vital role in supporting safer outcomes for victim/survivors and their children by delivering specialist, coordinated responses that prioritise safety, wellbeing and recovery while keeping the person using violence in view.

Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, this role supports positive client outcomes by:

•     Providing evidence based, safe and effective responses to victim survivors and their children, with a strong focus on safety, wellbeing and empowerment.

•     Working within an integrated family violence system to keep perpetrators in view and support accountability, while prioritising victim/survivor safety.

•     Conducting risk assessments, safety planning and coordinated interventions in line with the MARAM Framework and collaborating closely with key services across the sector.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

•     A minimum of Diploma level qualification in social work, psychology, community services and/or a related human services field (for further information regarding Victorian Government mandatory minimum qualification requirements visit our website - https://www.cnv.org.au/mandatory-minimum-qualification-requirements)

•     At least two years’ experience in a family violence or related role is desirable.

•     Broad knowledge and understanding of the gendered nature of family violence including impacts on children and young people, in accordance with CNV’s feminist philosophies.

•     Experience in providing case work to individuals and/or families experiencing complex needs and risk issues including a sound knowledge of referral pathways.

•     The ability to work with limited supervision and exercise judgement and initiative in a fast paced and changing environment where practices and processes may not be clearly defined.
