Software Development

Be a part of a fun, diverse team representing our IT brand Lapis. In an exciting time of growth, you’ll work on a range of software development projects and pick up valuable skills at every step. This stream is ideal for you if you are a budding software developer who's been working on personal development projects whilst you've been studying.

 You will:

●       Build custom software and business apps

●       Develop a broad range of skills working on a variety of projects

You will have the opportunity to:

●       Be mentored by a talented team of software developers

●       Undertake a self-managed project - design and deliver your own major project with support and guidance from our team of industry professionals

 

As a preferred candidate you might have:

●       A degree in Computer Science or related IT field

●       Passion projects or some software development experience you can't wait to talk about 

●       An understanding of progressive web apps and mobile apps using technologies like IONIC or React Native

●       An understanding of client-side scripting and modern JavaScript frameworks, such as Angular 

●       An interest in learning more about the full software development lifecycle

●       A desire to work with a team to analyse and solve complex technical problems
